Never before has there been so much competition for students, so just how are nurseries, schools, colleges and universities making sure they stand out?
Many proactive establishments have discovered that getting their message onto Britain’s busy roads is a proven and effective way of attracting prospective students and distinguishing themselves from their competitors.
In fact, over 30 educational establishments in Sunderland and the North East alone have snapped up roundabout sponsorship sites in recent months, finding it hugely beneficial at increasing enquiries and applications. Offering such a simple way to reach thousands of parents and potential students who often see signs multiple times a day, local sponsorship can also help to build trust and reputation within the local community, prompting them to take action.
Both nurseries and schools can now be seen on eye-catching signs across a series of strategically chosen sites across Sunderland, including Sunderland College who are the proud sponsor of 5 separate roundabouts.
Hylton Red House Nursery School (pictured) is the latest to join other successful sponsors in Sunderland, with Headteacher Catherine Barnett using the initiative to raise both intake numbers and put them on the map, not just for her own schools but her Partners in Pedagogy as well.
"Roundabout advertising is an exciting way to let our local community know we are here. We are looking forward to seeing the Sunderland Nursery Schools represented in such a way, and have no doubt it will help raise our profile across the city."
As there’s also the option to change the design of the signs during the lifetime of the contract, many use their sponsorship boards to publicise upcoming events such as Open Days, or to promote their facilities and the courses they can offer, having a marked effect on stirring up more attendance and interest.
We’re currently running a time limited offer for Sunderland’s education sector to receive a month’s free advertising (subject to a few T & C’s), but there are opportunities all over the North East and beyond, so please call (07788) 743887 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details of available sites near you.
