WE'RE EXPERTS IN BOOSTING REVENUE

We're dedicated to exploring new ways to generate extra income. We advise on the best way to make your assets work for you, whether they’re currently part of an existing scheme or not. If you’re not happy with your current scheme, we’re here to help you maximise its potential.

OUR EXPERIENCE

We have over 100 years’ combined experience in implementing, selling and managing outdoor advertising and sponsorship schemes. Working for the industry leaders such as JC Decaux, Clear Channel, CBS Outdoor, as well as over ten years working with local authorities has given us a unique understanding of the industry and how to maximise revenue for our partners.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

The main difference between CP Media and other suppliers in this industry is that we have an unrivalled sales record in selling advertising space. This is the most critical factor in determining the success of any revenue generation scheme. Without consistent sales generating increasing revenue each year, any scheme will eventually falter.

Our marketing team are experts in audience, research and insight, and our highly-experienced sales team possess a great deal of specialist knowledge of the industry.  We always ensure that you receive a very high level of service, covering:

  • Contract management
  • Stakeholder relationship-building
  • In-house design service
  • Print, sign manufacturing and installation
  • Sign and grounds maintenance
  • Transparent financial management and reporting
  • Client customer service

THE AUDIENCE IS ALWAYS RIGHT

So, what should your organisation be thinking about when planning how to maximise revenue from advertising and sponsorship on its assets?

It's the audience (and their audience) that will dictate the success of a scheme. But what does this mean?

The Council's key audience for sponsorship and advertising are local businesses, and in turn, their audience (or potential customers).

If you can establish advertising sites in the right locations to the right size and appeal, that businesses can see will allow them to talk to their potential customers, then they will be more likely to pay significant fees to use them.

On the other hand, if the sites you offer are in less advantageous location and are too small, then there will be little demand and they are unlikely to sell.

These are the questions you should be asking when considering your scheme:

  • Who might be interested in the sites – location and site type?
  • What is the footfall or traffic flow?
  • Are there any key demographics that will appeal to local businesses?
  • Which type of local businesses will these sites really appeal to?
  • How much do you think they would be willing to pay?

MATCHING SITES TO YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS MARKET REQUIREMENTS

There are a number of ‘fixed’ assets that local authorities tend to think of when considering an asset revenue generation scheme.

Below are the key sites that could be added to a portfolio, but others may be ones to consider in future:

  • Roundabouts
  • Lamppost banners
  • Boundary signs
  • Landscape signs
  • Bridges
  • Car parks
  • Wayfinding sites
  • Digital screens (internal)
  • Digital screens (external)

There are number of other asset types that could be considered, such as vehicle livery, bins, uniforms, car park tickets, etc., but there can be restrictions on the viability of these sites.

One of the services we provide is to help advise on which sites to take to the business market, but also those to exclude from your portfolio. Take a look at some of our client case studies here:

WHERE WE'VE COME FROM AND WHERE WE'RE GOING TO

CP Media has continually developed over the years, starting off from a small media company into one that now manages advertising in over 100 towns and cities across the UK.

Formed as part of Adgroup in 1986, CP Media was originally set up by Andrew Walker, who has established companies in airport, rail and bus advertising across the UK.

Mike Brennan joined in 2010 from CBS Outdoor, a global outdoor media organisation. Community Partners was then registered as a stand-along company.

Richard Eccles, Commercial & Operations Director, joined in 2013 with many years’ experience in working with central and local government and in outdoor advertising.

Since then, CP Media has grown each year whilst cementing its reputation as being a trusted and reliable partner in asset revenue generation.

We want to continue this growth, and continue to provide services to our clients where there are gaps in the market and work together with them on new opportunities.

Our aim is to be the number one choice for local authorities and other asset owners when considering how best to generate revenue from their assets.

We're always looking for new and inventive ways to make the most of your assets. Contact us today to see what we can do for you.
